I'm completely stumped by what my car is doing and I wasn't sure what to search.

My issue is that when I'm accelerating rapidly the car begins to stutter in the 5200-5800 RPM range. This issue doesn't appear to occur in first gear but it does occur in second and third gears.

Things I have noticed while it's doing it:
    • Power drops
    • RPMs bounce roughly 100 RPM
    • Boost drops

Things I have tried doing to fix it:
    • Smaller belt. The smaller belt put the tensioner indicator on the middle of the three markings
    • Different boost bypass solonoid

The PCM is not reporting any misfires or knock.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Wires are a couple years old. The plugs are NGK TR6IX Plugs and don't have more than 20K miles on them.

When was the last time the fuel filter was changed? Could be plugged up enough to cause the stuttering but not bot enough to set a misfire code yet.

My wires are pretty nice and I'm pretty sure I changed them at the same time. So my plugs actually have closer to 30-40K on them instead of the 20K I said.

Ehhhh. Not since I've owned it(2 1/2 years). I did think of that myself because I'm sure it needs it. I'll go ahead and order one to get it done and out of the way. Thanks!
