It's time to put one of my Grand Prix's for sale. I have a 2000 Grand Prix GTP coupe with the Daytona 500 edition package. I bought the car in October 2011 with 69k on it. Previous owner owned it since 2002 and stored it winters. Only used it as his summer car. I daily drove the car up until November 2012 and the miles are at 83,4xx. The car is currently stored in a garage for the winter as I have purchased a 95 GTP as a daily driver. Mods on the car are CAI, 3.4 Pulley, 5% tint, LED interior, black housing headlights with clear corners, and HID low/high & fogs, and blue painted calipers. The car also has a Viper alarm system with remote start.
According the the previous owner he purchased the car from a guy that bought the car missing panels. From there on he went on to repaint the whole car. From what I have noticed the doors were replaced as well as the trunk lid. The car has and always has had a clean title so i'm not sure what the circumstances were. There is no signs of a wreck to the car whatsoever including the frame and the car is as clean as a whistle underneath. I am disclosing this so there is no surprises.
The leather interior is in mint condition and everything works inside. I replaced the radio with an OEM AC Delco one from an 02 GTP after not liking the aftermarket one that came with it when I purchased the car. I also replaced the cluster overlay ONLY with a brand new OEM 2003 limited edition one. I still have the original one. The taillights have been replaced with a much nicer OEM set as the original ones had the typical delamination problem. The factory wheels are mint with no curb rash whatsoever and come wrapped in Goodyear Eagle GT's with about 85% tread on them. I replaced the rack & pinion at 73k with a brand new one after it was making hard left turns. I literally just replaced the AC compressor after it started making a whinning noise and a front wheel bearing after the ABS light stayed on. An AC recharge will need to be done since I did not recharge it in the middle of winter.
The 19" discountinued ADR wheels can come with the car for the right price. They are wrapped in 245 45 19 Toyo tires with about 70% tread on them. They are chrome but currently have plasti dip on the centers that can be easily removed. The front and rear lower bumper covers also have plasti dip that can be easily removed and are dark gray underneath.
I am asking $6300 OBO with all the above mentioned. I am located in Northwest Indiana border with Chicago.
