Hey guys, I know I was never a major contributor here like some others, but I spent a lot of time here reading, learning, enjoying, and returning the favor when I could. I also learned a lot here. I learned to work on cars, and automotive concepts in general starting at 0% knowledge... now I have a career in the automotive service field and it all started here and with my Grand Prix. Just wanted to say thanks up front... I felt like home here for awhile. It was a lot less toxic here than many other car platform boards.
So, it's with a heavy heart that I say it's come time for me to buy my first new new car. I really love my GP. It was my dream car when I was a kid, and it's been 100% reliable. Im emotionally bonded with it, and I've struggled mentally with the idea of keeping it as a garage queen, but it's just financially unrealistic for me to keep it on top of something new.
That said, I wanted to drop an ad here first before I start posting elsewhere... hoping it'll go to someone with a passion for the platform who might understand what it is and take care of it instead of trashing it... maybe it'll go on to live for many more years. Im gunna give it about a week here before I post up everywhere else.

Alright, so it's a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Comp G, Black, 164k miles. Asking $3500, was $4000 originally. Keeping it firm. Located in Northeast Pennsylvania... Im willing to travel a few hours if needed, so we can talk about meeting up.
I bought it about 8 years ago, and it hasnt seen a winter since. When the first salt hits the road, it goes in the heated garage and my beater Explorer comes out. Zero rot anywhere.
The paint has been obsessed over, as I've really gotten into detailing over the years. The regular first/last detail of spring/fall every year is wash > clay > compound > polish > wax, takes about 8 hours... followed by a wash every 2 weeks and a coat of meguiars ultimate detail spray, or an actual coat of wax if I have the time. The paint is beautiful. Exhaust sounds pretty mean just from the powerlogs, wider downpipe, and high flow cat with stock catback.
It's had 5w30 Full Syn Pennzoil/Castrol/Mobil 1 all of it's life every 3-5k miles.
-->Heads-up Display is functional
-->Heated Front Seats
-->Moonroof
-->Silver SPO Front Grilles
-->Quad tail pipes
-->Tapshift
-->WS6 RPO designation as OEM Competition Group Package
-->OEM Comp G package includes upgraded stiffer suspension, steeper gearing in the trans for quicker take-offs, painted factory calipers, special wheels, and probably the nice tail pipes it has... and a really sweet dashboard CompG logo I've never seen on any other car of this kind... I dont know if the original owner did that custom or what but I loved it at first sight.
-->Clean title
-->LIM Gaskets redone about 2 years ago with revised metal gaskets, also changed out lifters with brand new LS7 lifters from Intense-racing at that time.
-->New water pump and both belts 4 months ago, it was starting to leak... between LIM gasket and water pump changes, coolant is fresh and crystal clear
-->ABS light is on, code for Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Signal
-->Clear coat peeling a bit on the spoiler
====================Current Mods into it:=============================
-->Sport Edition Kv5 Wheels 18", 245/45r18 tires (Always been in love with these wheels)
-->ZZP 2.5" Downpipe
-->ZZP Front Powerlog
-->ZZP Rear Powerlog
-->Open Cone Intake w/ DryFlow filter
-->180* Tstat
-->1.7:1 Yella Terra Roller Rockers
-->Overkill Tune
-->1 heat range colder Autolite Copper Plugs
-->ZZP Poly engine and trans mounts, dogbones are flipped
-->ZZP F-Body Front Calipers (Dual piston) w/ R1 Concepts Drilled and Slotted rotors all around
-->Floyd Floor Mats from PFYC.com, embroidered on the front mats with GTP Comp G, rear mats are Pontiac Arrowhead with no words
-->Retrofit projector headlights made by ClassyPontiac w/ Morimoto HID kits
-->3 gauge pillar pod w/ Oil pressure, Boost/vacuum, Aeroforce Interceptor... electrical wiring for the oil pressure and boost gauges are run, so you just gotta plug em in. I never had time to get around to wiring up the boost sensor or the oil pressure sensor for those gauges, so they have power, are tested and work, they just dont have their respective sensors hooked up yet... you'll get those sensors and wiring too.
=========================================
Sound system currently in it will be going with the car except for the sub box which I will be keeping. All the wiring for the sub will be left in place, so it'll be plug and play with whatever you want to use. Came with factory monsoon system, factory amp is bypassed but still in place.
-->Kenwood Excelon DPX791BH Head Unit
-->Kenwood SiriusXM Reciever to make head unit satellite compatible
-->Kenwood KAC-8406 4 channel amp - 2 channels to the front doors, 2 channels bridged to sub
-->Kenwood Excelon KFC-X174 2-way speakers in the front doors
Power wire run from positive jump post on the under-hood fusebox down the left side, Speakers wires run down the right side.
The system is incredible... high volume, high fidelity/clarity, and thumps like craaaazy with a single 12" that I have in it currently. I spent a long time picking these pieces out to jive together.
==========================================
Along with the mods I'll be leaving on the car, you'll be getting all of the factory pieces that I've kept, which is basically everything except the stock downpipe... I sent it back for the cat core.... and the stock wheels which I sold years ago.
You'll get...
-->Both stock exhaust manifolds
-->All of the stock rocker arms and push rods
-->Stock Stereo Head Unit
-->Stock headlights
-->Stock pillar where the gauge pod is
-->Stock PCM
-->Original Owner's manual
==========================================
There's a lot to be had here for the money Im asking, so hit me up. I'll be glad to answer any questions!

It's not listed in the mods. What exactly are the wheels?
And do you have interior pictures?

Got it, thanks. Now, a few more questions, based on those.
1. Why not just put the GXP wheels on it, then? Almost the same size, almost the same concept.
2. Have you fixed the ABS yet?
3. Can you show the entire driver's seat? That's always my greatest area of concern in any used car with leather.
4. What happened to the engine cover? Did you have a recall done, or did something else happen?

The dash emblem looks like the same one that's on the doors. That's added by the previous owner all around, those only came on the 05.

Yeah the dash emblem is exactly the same one as on the left and right front doors... I've just never seen it on the interior before, and the placement of it, just slightly offset from the radio cutout is really nice. I just thought it was a really cool touch when I first saw it, still appreciate it to this day.
1) I dunno, I never really considered them even though they are pretty close. What I really wanted for it were Mille Miglia MM1001, but they're discontinued, hard to find undamaged, and expensive... I found these, which are meant to be replicas of those, while searching online for something similar, got them brand new from Tire Rack... but yeah the GXP wheels are just about the same thing now that I look closer. Either way, I love them.
2) No, ABS light is still on. I suspect it's probably a broken wire in the harness that runs along the control arm. The light first came on while I had the car on a lift, so the control arm was being flexed. They make a pretty cheap replacement harness you splice in specifically for this issue. I just typically work 45-55 hours a week, and my garage is a decent drive from where I live, so it's been tough finding time to dedicate to digging into something like that when it doesnt impact driveability and everything else works fine.
3) Yeah I can snap a few pictures of the seats, I'll upload them shortly
4) Nothing happened to it, it's just in a box in my garage with all the other stock parts I listed.. I forgot actually about the engine cover, so I'll add that to the list of stuff going with the car. It hasnt been on the car since the day I brought it home, I just highly prefer seeing the naked engine and the blower. I wanna see the baby right on top, lol.

Okay, so for some reason I cant go back and edit my original post, it just keeps bringing up a blank text box.
Engine cover is also included in items that will be with the car.
Also, Im pretty upset about it, but it seems that the modular pulley kit I paid for, never even got to install, and kept in a very specific place with all of my other car parts right IN the garage stall where the car is kept has gone missing. Im not sure what happened to it, but I'll continue to search for it... I had no reason to move it from where it was, so Im baffled and a little suspicious of who may have been in that garage besides my direct family.
I'll keep looking for it, just know that it may end up not being included... Im sorry, I tried to edit the original post but I cant. Everything else in the post I had my hands on today and is accounted for.

Is this still available? I just totaled my GXP, so may be seriously interested.
