Would this work for a top swap? I was unsure because you stated gen 3 m90, how does this differ from the SC used on the 3800 series 2 engine?

That is the charger that came on the 3800 SII. 3800 SIII was the Gen V M90.
Although as you know from your earlier post, you'd need heads, LIM, and a bunch of other accessories etc.
