Ohhhh Pretty! I want it! GLWS!
you bought extras??
When it rains it pours.....what can I say
Is that the 7/16th pitch chain or 3/8th?
Too bad that input shaft isn't the 708, I would have sent the money yesterday.
It pays off to do your research........
3/8 Pitch - Total tooth count = 70
7/16 Pitch - Total tooth count = 60
CPT708 is the part number that you're referring to in the Ectotec catalog. That part number is for "SHAFT ASM-TURBINE (Input Shaft Assembly) Turbine Shaft and Sleeve and pump shaft". CPT707 is the Turbine Shaft that was included in the CPT708 (Input Shaft Assembly). Sonnax makes and aftermarket (heat treated) channel plate sleeve that can be used in place of the the one that GM Racing used. As far as pump shaft I have a ZZP Chrome Moly one that I will have machined to run in my own setup.
This is what I was going off of.
You're gonna make me count the teeth?
Haven't seen that revision of the Ecotec manual. Just going off the 3rd edition.
If you've ever seen pics of the 7/16 pitch sprockets they are easy to spot. They also don't have a surface for the sprocket to channel plate bushing since the GM Racing cars all deleted 4th accumulator and ran the ISS sensor mounted in the 4th accumulator.
If you really want the CPT708 I have that too......
Do you have a picture of the CPT708 shaft next to the CPT707 shaft?
I can....here is a pic that I took of ZZP 300m, GMR 800, GMR 1200....all together. Mind sending me that link to the different revisions of the Ecotec manual? That way I can include the info in my F/S posts so everyone is in the know.
I found it just as you posted...I'm at work though and can't open the link. Good enough for me.
I'll change my post to reflect 800hp Input Shaft.
I am interested it the turbine shaft if you still have it. kinda interested in what you want for the 708 as well. I just broke the stock one in my car. lol
hit me up if you still got it.
Bump!
Bump!
