What do mean You can't buy credits for the hpt?

I have a 97 gtp. Being it is fully unlocked for 97, do I need credits?

What is the difference between the serial version and the regular version?

when htp switch from the serial version to the current version, they stopped supporting the serial version so you can no longer buy credits for them. the software still works but not the beta software. it is completely unlock of 97 and 00 GPs so if you have a 97 or 00 then it will work for you. you could also use a 00 pcm and tune with it but your vin would not be able to match the pcm. the regular version is just there current hardware version. this one doesnt have AD inputs so you have to run the wideband through the egr.

Oof, I want those projectors, but need to come up with the money. Do they come with ballasts by chance, or do I need to find them?

You'll need to get balasts, ddm tuning has some nice ones.

15's or 16's? How wide? How tall? Product number?
Are they the 'cheater slick' or the drag slick?

Not sure what cheater slick means, they are 16s. I'll get back to you on the other numbers.

IIRC cheater slick has tread line in them so they're actually classified as a "D.O.T." tire not a slick. They're often made of a different compound as well.
I just noticed yours have the treads on em' they look like QTP's... doesn't work for me. I'm looking for 15" 26x10 slicks.

Swiggs, Nick is talking about DR's vs full slicks. Looks like yours being 16's would be a DR.

It's a shame you didn't say something sooner Nick, I couldnt' find a buyer local... these are leaving for Ohio soon. Full blown Mickey T ET Drags on some super light rims. As you can see by the sidewall, I think they are what you are looking for.
