Here is a factory stock 4T65E input shaft compared to one of these for all those wondering or questioning. I didnt build these myself obviously and they are not stock. I dont have any information as far as a power rating. They should work just as good as anyone elses 300M IS. If you have big power and slicks and you get wheel hop or tire spin then sudden bite in, you will break one of these and most any other IS except maybe a GMR.
The shiny one with the sealing rings installed is the 300M, the dirty one with no seals and the purple paint mark is stock.
NOTICE, the cut on the splines is completely different. Where the factory splines are beveled off on the end the good IS is machined square.
While the splines on the TQ convertor end obviously have to maintain the same OD to work with a normal convertor and stator tube the wall of the shaft is thicker where the oil pump drive comes through.
Stock shaft approx .184
300M IS approx .194
