For anyone interested, I have everything necessary for a 284 swap. I am unable to post a new thread in the for sale section (will post there when I can) so I figured I'd start a thread here to see if there's any interest and to help get enough of a post count to properly use the FS thread. Im interested. Ive actually been looking into this for about 5 months now. Please let me know what parts are involved, how much and is there a computer swap??. I have a 1995 grand Prix 2 door with the 3100 M Engine code V6

I'm not sure if an ECU swap is required. I would imagine it can be reprogrammed. I do have the computer from the donor car as well, but that won't help you as it's for an lq1 (3.4 dohc) As far as the rest goes, I have everything you need - it will bolt right into your car. Just let me know if you're interested.

Sorry for not following forum rules. I originally created this post in the transmission section since I never had a high enough post count to post in the for sale section. That's why it also lacked details. Anyhow, I have the following for sale:

284 trans, original clutch & flywheel, new clutch & flywheel, driver side axle, passenger side axle, axle brackets/mounts, transmission mounts, firewall plate, pedal & bracket assembly, shifter cables, Z34 shifter/knob/center console trim, GTP shifter/knob/center console trim (with driver info center), Z34 5 speed ECU, hydraulic clutch lines & reservior. All parts came from a '92 Z34 with ~105k miles. Asking price is $900 + shipping. I am located in eatern Canada. kuntzie you dont happen to have a 6 speed or 5 speed swap together for sale do you?
My trans is going out and i dont plan on rebuilding it unless i absolutly have to. Im short on cash atm but am saving atm for the swap so im just shopping around for someone who has a complete one ready to drop in. Its my DD so i have to do it over a few days.
