These were installed on my 97 Gtp last august. I put about 8k miles on them, 7k of that on a journey during the holidays.
Los Angeles to Boston, then to St Augustine, then back to LA. Various stops in between and visiting family thanksgiving and christmas.
Took about 7weeks, during this drive I found out these are not for me on a car I daily drive.
They handle like the car is on rails and here in the west ride quality is barely acceptable for me with 18in rims 245x45 series tires. If i had taller tires maybe these would be ok for me.
From Gettysburg to Boston down to DC they were very much not suited for those roads imo.
I want you to know what these are, they are basically a race suspension setup according to a mechanic I had look at my car in Baton Rouge to make sure I had not damaged my car. He builds race cars so he knows what he is talking about. ZZP claimed they would be a little harsher than the adjustable agx shocks i had, that was bs.
Like i said, maybe if i had factory wheel/tire combo it would be ok, idk.
But these are in great shape, the boots on the fronts split, I called ZZP and they sent new replacements so that is covered.
I figure half price is fair for these, minus a little for swapping the boots, I would like to get $400. I am not interested in shipping these, they will be expensive but if you want to pay for it I will. I am located in the torrance ca area.
