if you haven't updated the vs of software in a long long time, that would sell on facebook market place real fast for like 3-400 easy. you cant get the old style any more, and if its not been updated even better.

I am not sure but I think the Drivers for the interface are old. I have not updated them. When I look into the device manager it says driver date 1-18-2013 and version 2.8.28.0. Thanks for the info Scotty!

It's because all the older versions still allowed for emissions deletes if you knew what you were doing. Mainly for diesels.

its not the end user whos at fault for using what was sold to them. why hpt and all the other tuners had to dial them things back.

epa is really full of crap with all these crack downs on performance parts. its a joke. seen a vid where a shop owner who had just been talked to by the epa said theres been tests done on a 1000 hp engine on corn with no cats, it runs cleaner then a toyota.

You know what you need to do? Go on MeTV and Cozi and look at the old shows from the 70s, and look at what the air was like before the EPA really kicked in.

I used to suffer from COPD. I have children and grandchildren. I have a right to breathe. So do they. End of discussion.

The government and EPA tell us what we need to do to reduce pollution. My v8 truck will pollute less in 3 years then one trip for these (preachers) that fly around in a private jets everywhere they go, and those same people tell me I can't have mods, and need to buy an electric car. Look at china, compared to the US in pollution and yet people here want to tell us we can't put a turbo, headers, etc. on our own cars that we bought and paid for?

When people say this, it tells me they are ignorant on the subject. Next time try "Prove me wrong."

The introduction of catalytic converters on passenger vehicles made huge improvements in air quality. Most noticeably in warm urban areas. LA, Phoenix etc. Fair enough. (I would argue the lead was a bigger issue.)

However, the amount of *extra* pollution put out by the small fraction of modified passenger vehicles is statistically ZERO in the grand scheme of things. Cruise ships pollute more than all the modified cars on the road combined. Go after them.

It probably did not help things that some guys got on TV and said watch me defeat this emissions crap, so I can go coal roll a Prius.

If it is designed to do it, I guess the end user should suffer no blame.
