What is the best exhaust for a S/C 3.8? If there is already a thread for this I apologize.. I couldn't find it.

There are LOTS of threads and the answer is stock exhaust is best. That is of course if you are asking about the catback.

I guess I was talking about more of the mufflers for better sound. I should have clarified, my apologies

If you enjoy farting sounds with drone and terrible audio from the exhaust, buy aftermarket mufflers like flow crappers or magnaflows.

Only borla sounds semi decent but the 3800 just sounds terrible with exhuast. Only a tubo makes em sound cool.

The only thing that makes them sound better is a turbo as FFDP said. 3800's don't have a good sound with aftermarket mufflers.

Find a Corsa exhaust. Dead silent at idle and no drone when cruising. Nice and farty at WOT.

I know its a different car but I've heard quite a few 3.8 camaros that don't sound too bad at all. Don't get me wrong, nothing sounds like a rumbly american v8 lol but still. I didn't know if they're similar at all.

I've heard 3.8 Camaros and they sound just as bad as a Grand Prix.

You can make a camaro sound alright but thats because it has equal length headers.
