I have a 2004 GP GTP Comp G that has a slight leak in that location. Seems to leak in area where that tube goes into intake
manifold. What is the fix for this....... or should I not ask

47065hp is what you need.
So how many of these are there on the 2004 motor that I have to replace ?

2, they both come in the package.
Thanks guys... I bought the metal ones (Dorman) from Autozone for about $11. Put them in, seem to be fine ... BTW the plastic originals were shot.. came out in pieces.
Be careful when you pull them out. Mine left the o-ring anf the inboard portion of the elbow in the bore that they slide into in the timing cover and LIM.
Be real careful trying to pull those pieces out, especially on the LIM hole.... it can fall into the cavity inside and become unretrievable.
But I have another problem .... I found not only did I have an upper elbow leak but a water pump leak too .... So now I need to change that.
Know where I can find the procedure for that ????? BTW, GM wanted $27 for the new plastic elbows ......
water pump is easy.
loosen the 4 bolts on the water pump pulley, then take the belts off.
then use the hole in the power steering pump to un bolt it, move it to the side,
then the lower idler for the super charer belt needs to come off, its sometimes a torx bolt, T55. sometimes a bolt head.
then remove the pulley, then take all the bolt out around the water pump.
the 4 long bolts, clean them up, then put some thread sealant on them, they go right into the coolant jacket of the block and can leak if not sealed.
clean the timing cover up make sure theres no old gasket left on it, then install a new dry gasket, and the pump, snug all the bolts up good, dont over tighten them.
put the idler pulley back on, the p/s pump, and the w/p pulley back on, then the belts, then tighten the 4 bolts on the w/p pulley.
you may have to remove the coolant tank, ( if its by the pulleys) and i moved the fuse box to the side as well to add a little more room to work in.
Yes, Thanks again ! Bought the pump, will install tonight....
