Hey all,
Trying to decide whether or not to junk this car. A customer couldn't afford to pay me for work I did on one of their vehicles so they offered up their 94 Pontiac GPX to me in trade. It drove to my shop but it went from driving to suddenly having only first gear. Seems like an electrical malfunction, so I started looking at the electrical stuff, to find all the wiring has notes and tags on it all over, cut leads, bad connections, etc. It didn't occur to me until yesterday that the car says 24v V-6 on it, and what is under the hood is CLEARLY a 3.8L . It appears to be professionally modified, but the wiring is a huge rats nest.
It's difficult for me to figure out what is damaged and improperly routed, etc on this engine, is there anyone out there who would have a clue what a wiring schematic would look like for this thing?? There are ECU pins pulled out of the connectors and taped back to the side, it just looks like a mess and if I can't figure out what's going on, the car has to go.
