Thread: supercharged motor swap 04 impala to 04 grand prix

just wanting to know if anyone took a series II motor supercharged motor and made it work in a series III N/A car. my motor was messed up by the previous owner and i can get a supercharged motor from a 04 impala from the local junkyard here for real cheap. i know the supercharger is not electronic tb and the electronic tb one won't bolt up to the cable throttle. also the series II supercharger isn't as good but i need a motor and would like to upgrade. im having a hard time finding a whole series III motor that is supercharged for a decent price. also can i bolt a series III supercharger to the series II intake?

does anyone sell an adaptor. i know about the pcm and i was hopeing the brackets would bolt up. basically use everything off the series III minus the supercharger related things

so a gen V blower would mount to a series II intake or just the heads

so i can get the cheap series 2 supercharged motor and then find a gen V blower and lim and i would be set

Don't forget about a tune, and opening up the Series II LIM for the Gen V.
