Took the car to Firestone for diagnosis. They said MAF sensor was no good. Bought one at Advanced Auto Parts. Installed. same problem. Tried another one. Same problem. Car is back at Firestone to diagnose again. Any thoughts?

    Time for electrical diag.

Start looking into a wire problem going to the sensor.

Advanced Auto Parts sold me a new one at the reman. price for $110.00. The problem was my dumbass installed the new one in parking lot of the auto parts. It ran fine until I revved the motor and at 3500 rpm it was stalling.... I didnt realize that the problem was the REV LIMITER was kicking in and causing the cutting out, until i got home and started thinking about it. Any new one should work if the diag. shows MAF. duh!

not all MAF's are built the same, after market sensors seem to fail in a short amount of time. vs a used stock MAF.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW
