Ok, put a top swapped l26 in my 02 gtp. Everything went great but I have a oil leak coming from balancer. I replaced the seal and put a repair kit on the balancer since it was grooved. This did not work. I have done some research and they say it takes a little bit to get a new groove made in and it will stop over time. Driven about 200 miles on it and it still leaks.
It leaks really bad on start up like a stream comes out for about a minute then it is fine the rest of the day. Any thoughts would be great.
    Thanks,

I wonder if it's a slow leak from the oil sender

The L67 montana guy had an issue with aftermarket front seals.

perhaps a GM seal is in order?

My Buddie with a Fresh Build had a aftermarket seal on the Balancer, and puked oil out. Installed the GM one and it all went away.

Finally got around to installing the GM seal. Worked perfect. NO more leak. Thank you. Funny that the GM seal is cheaper than the timkin.
