Chuck..it's likely between being afraid of the motors and never learning how to correctly plasti things. Or it's because these 3800's don't think anything of 150K..

My fear is how that 150K came about, grandma or little Timmy doing burnouts. LOL
I always assume the later.
But yea, I agree that these motors can take a real beating. I'm sure you've proven that with your right foot, Aye?
Well I forgot to update..I always hate when someone leaves a thread hanging.
Anyway, replaced the bearings, runs good again. Ive got about 8 cars so 6700 miles wouldnt even be seen for about 2 years so Im good lol.
I also found the oil leak...front main seal. Havent had time to work on that yet.
Did you check the crank journals?
If the crank is not within specification and smooth as silk you'll probably get less than 1000 miles of that thing.
A bad crank journal will tear a bearing up quick, especially on the 3800.
Yeah there was 1 that wasnt that great. I dont figure it will last too long. Ill just go with a new motor next lol, I would of just replaced the motor if I didnt just jump into the job without doing any research, figured I could jimmy the oil pan out..but nope. Should of researched it first and I would of just replaced the motor, was half way there just replacing the bearings lol.
