what about the tranny? you using the one from the l67?

if the year change is to far apart you also need to re use your maf, but they fit their own year tb. like a 97-98 is the same tb, a 99-00 the same and then 01-03

so if your going out of year on the maf tell the tuner so he can load the maf file for that years maf.

I did take the HD tranny too, year is different though(2000). I am just going to take the HD side/axle and the 2.93 final drive from the year 2000 trans and swap it to the 2003 transmission. I also have to replace the 4th hub with a hub with harder splines and overdrive clutches, they are toassst. Throttle body is 99-00, MAF is 99-00. So the 99-00 HD uprgade and 2.93 final drive will work on a 01-03 N/A transmission? You're the best Scotty, thnx for the info.

if you have a 03 l67 tb on you old engine, reuse that and its maf.

im lost on the tranny stuff. you might have a better idea of whats going on there than i do.

Throttle body and MAF on the L67 are 99-00. The N/A engine I took out is all 01-03 parts.

see if your maf from the na tb will fit right. if it does use that maf. as it will work in a 03 tune. mafs are the same na or sc.

Now I see you have a N/A bottom end, how much more power do I get doing the top swap? Not doing anything major for now, just want a few extra bolt-on horses. Swap blocks, up the fuel injector size and have it tuned?

idk if theres more power, but if you run a stock pulley on a top swap its every bit as good as a l67. then you can grow from there. id rather run a l67 bottom end tho. i grabbed this one cause it was free. and l67 are not around like they used to be.

Soooooh, everything is fine. The engine has the new tuned PCM, fired right up without hesitation. Time to install the Intense Racing LSD tranny kit.
