A nice hot day and some fishing line or sting, then slowly cut the adhesive and badge will come off, then rub the rest of whats left off the car, goo gone can help.
What kind of exhaust stuff?
Tips?
Personally just leave everything with the exhaust alone except the tips.
You have a couple of options with the exhaust.
Catback-mufflers and upgraded size piping from the stock 2 1/4" piping.
Downpipe- Different sizes to choose from 2.5" to 3", can get catless(less expensive) or one with
Plog- angle of primaries are changed on the front exhaust manifold it's a much better design than factory.
PEM aka Ported exhaust manifold- factory manifolds just opened up for better flow
Headers- different design for the front and rear manifolds along with a dp
Cutout- opens exhaust early giving it an "open headers" feel/sound/performance
As far as choice it mostly depends what your goal is hp wise. Do you plan on racing? Do you just want some umph? Do you just want sound? Want a little of both?
All will increase flow/free up hp at some point. If you are only interested in racing then headers are a good option. If you want sound then a catback or even a cutout will suffice. Headers have gotten so cheap it's hard to even consider doing a plog/dp setup. However if there is any possible chance you may turbo then take the plog route. It will be one less thing you have to worry about acquiring for your conv.
i want more umph i guess you could say.. and i want it to sound better. i like the sound of it now, but i just want it to be louder im not sure how to explain it lol
If you are just wanting it to be louder then yes a catback exhaust will do it. If looking for a cheaper way to do that consider purchasing a manual cutout from Summit Racing. They are $26 + the cost of install. It will give you the loudness you are looking for. The nice thing about a cutout is that they come with a cap. This allows for you to "turn off" the loudness and revert back to factory, or what I like to call stealth mode. The manual version uses 3 nuts and bolts that you tighten to close. There is also an electronic version that can be hooked up allowing you to flip a switch to open and close it. Those are much more expensive but the benefit of owning own is that you can essentially open the cutout while you are driving.
