really need some help here
it got on the actual carpet though
well you would still probably be able to see it even with new mats but i will be getting new ones soon so im guessing they dont make any tpe of dye or anything to cover it up or something to just get it close to the color.
anyone? something to fixe this or is replacing it the only thing that i can do?
Theres always upolstry spraypaint if you matched the colors up right
were would i get something like that and how do i know what color to get is there a list of the interior colors or something for our cars?
dont spill bleach in the first place =] lmao but idk man id say some sorta spray? idk
well my interior is dark pewter and i have no idea were to find any type of spray interior color i need some help
Check with a local carpet dealer about some carpet dye or a carpet cleaning company like Stanley Steamers. I'm sure they have had to deal with tough stains on carpets.
i would check out duplicolor paint. they make carpet spray paints and dyes. there website is "under construction" but I'm sure they have something that would cover that up.
with my old car.. eclipse.. on the forums one of the guys pulled out his whole carpet and used that carpet spray paint and it looked like perfect brand new carpet. so either look for a die or use the paint.
I had some bleech spill in one of my cars years ago. The car had dark grey carpet. My fix? I bought and mixed some black dye, put it in a little spray bottle, misted it over the effected area, and rubbed it into the spot with an old rag I didn't care about. After doing this a few times, it fixed up the area so well you can't till anything ever happened.
LOL I do know. I've changed the carpet in my car's. My GTP is now Black carpet with Taupe leather. Great contrast. It's easy & dosen't take longer than an hour or two.
this isnt a bad idea
dye is your best bet
i was a detailer for many many yrs before painting cars..whatever you do dont try to clean it with anything..it will make it worse..i have learned..ill check into some area retailers of detailing products and see if there is anything i can find you.
that would be awesome im having no luck finding it
