And actually a dyno tune is not as good as people think. A dyno often will not provide a proper load on the engine while you're tuning. Once you get onto the street again, the engine can be lean and need more fuel, and/or still knock with the same AFR and may need less timing.
Think of a dyno as constantly tuning a car while going downhill.
Street tuning is best, and I don't need to drive stupid to get the readings I need, a few seconds of heavy throttle gives me a lot of information on the scantool and on the wideband.
You could make the drive to Toronto!
I have a gentleman coming in a few weeks from Montreal for a 2nd tune with his turbo 05, he's been down before. Get quite a few from Ottawa.
I *might* try and do another Ottawa tune day. I tried last year but it fizzled out so the wife and I just enjoyed the city sites.
No you'll only find a UPS Store at that address. I work out of home and travel in the GTA for tuning. If you're passing through I'm in the east end so you don't have to fight through the city!
hi guys you guys have talked about a guy that reprograms a ECU i close to peterborough ontario this wii guy is located in whitby?
the question i have it
and can you program out the anti theft out of the ecu so it doesnt need it so the 1997 cav i have can run as the anti theft is stuck on in the cluster the ipc as i been told the Tdm is in the cluster and i cant get it off with the 3 key 10 min thing
i like to know how much i guessing a 100 bucks or less to have the anti theft permemntly removed out of the computer so it can run with anti theft light on i dont care
