They are fine for home use, but in my opinion not for constant everyday use and abuse. I use my tools all day everyday to make money, I want quality stuff that lasts. Tools are preference like everything else, Ive always had Snap On and always will. They are just my tool of choice.

Compared to snap on, craftsman is junk. You definitely get what you pay for with snap on.

broke 2 craftsman 3/8th ratchets that are less than a year old trying to get my supercharger bolts out the snap on ratchet my dad had was over 20 years old and had no problem getting all of the bolts out

Thank you lol. People never understand until they actually use the different brands and compare. There are reasons a craftsman ratchet it 25 bucks and a Snap On is 130 bucks, or a craftsman 1/2 cordless impact is 120 an a Snap On is 600 bucks.

That's when you bust out the breaker bar lol. Snap on has some great tools just cost to much for me to spend for the type of things I use them for. GL w/ sale.

Learned that when I was taking some auto tech classes first time I used snap on I thought damn this I see why it cost so much. Now if I ever had to use my tools to make money in anyway snap on all the way!

don't forget that Craftsman has a lifetime warrenty - so that broken ratchet, that's new again if you warranty it. My $750 impact was a pos in my opinion, my dads 30 year old oil spitting impact does the job just the same. Just my .02 we use craftsman and ive used some fence posts as breaker bars and the only thing that ive ever broken was some sockets that were already rounded. I use my kobalt tools when i grab them, but i deffinatly don't seek them out in my tool box.

If my **** broke half way thru a job i wouldn't care if it was under warranty.
I'd rather have it not break at all. Snap On is quality. Over priced? Yeah lol.
