How hard would it be to switch the interior of an LS regal (blue interior with cloth seats) with a GS regal (leather)?

I could give 2 ****s about the engine because that is an easy switch.

literally a hand full of bolts. leather seats are a direct swap. now adding power to the both seats maybe a issue if the Ls car is no power seats.

The LS is pretty basic. Scotty you saw it. Blue on blue. What about things like the dash?

or a lot less. i did my seats im like a 1/2 hour. ripped the old out, vac the car out good, pop replacement seats in.

but in my own defense, it was not my first time taking them out. everything is easier the second time round. first time i had to gut the inside of the car.

its light blue, just do the seats. f it.

now your talking finding lots of parts local. dash i dont think is to hard to swap.

seats are hard to come by too. i waited for over a year till a set popped up. then they were 3 hours away.

Unsure. There is a red gs parts car 3 hours north of me. He wants 500$ or something for the regal

the red is real bold looking, it belongs in a red car. not a blue one.

I might just do that. But a new idea popped into my head. There is a 2001 Red Regal LS for sale near me. I could swap everything from that red GS over.

Or maybe just get the bonneville seats. Decisions decisions..... and not enough money -.-

depends on the bonnie seat color really.

you like the red? its a bit much for me. when they do red its red everything inside, carpet to head liner.

most of the ls cars come with 15 inch wheels so you may want to get 16's for it. that way you can run f bodys brakes if you wanted to up grade.

Yeah I would be getting bigger rims and tires. I will have to inquire about the bonnie seats. If I went red regal, I would need the whole interior. Everything from that red GS

Bonne seats are totally different in that year than you are thinking Scott. 92-99 had the AL7 seats.

Regals .. many LS came with leather. Many came with auto climate and DIC. It's not a GS to LS difference.

If you have the blue interior.. reach out to Marchi, he might be interested.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Yeah I keep finding cloth interiors. The blue interior I refer too is blue cloth. I am trying to find a good leather interior.

Do any other models of seats fit in the regal? I assume the GP/Impala seats fit in it correct?

regal seats are better then all of those, but them good bonnei seats. if you get one with blue just drive it till you find seat. like i said it can take some time for a good set to pop up. i waited a good while for the set i found.

most gp owners sit in a regal and say wow, this is a nice seat lol

me being a regal owner, first time i sat in a gp i was like wow these seats really do suck balls lol

Yeah I when I took a GTP out for a spin all I could think was "these seats are awful". We will see, the blue regal is a 98 so I am concerned about rust. I will have to check it out.
