I will be trying to use wheels and tires from the camaro as well. If they fit without hitting my coilovers. The 10k isn't really all in my motor. It's pretty much what I have spent on the whole car. Minus the cost of the car itself. It needed a lot of work! But i would say a good 4 to 5 in the motor so far... anyways I'm prob not gonna be posting anymore. I'll put some pics up when I have them. Too many haters on here. I think it would be very beneficial to have ccr's apparently I'm all alone. Thanks to everybody that was helpful. Especially dezebe1 and turbo400

well, i already told you that redrilling the rotors with a second bolt pattern was going to be your easiest, simplest, cheapest solution to running the rotors on the car, but you want to make one off rotor hats. that's dumb. and why on earth would you want to swap to 5x120 bolt pattern when there's glorious, copious amounts of wheels in 5x114.3 to choose from that bolt right up to the damn car right now? who knows.

then you're talking about weight savings, but going bigger with everything that is actually where you'd save weight (wheels/tires) is way counter productive.

also, have you noticed i haven't mentioned one bit how you won't be able to control the car while hard braking? no. because there's way too many other things i have nit pick about how this is a total waste of time, effort, and money.

Finally getting somewhere with my brakes. I have all the brake components. I have given up for now on trying to get the E-Brake to work. I have been able to swap out hubs but it took some doing. I thought the corvette rear hubs would be a direct swap for the grand prix front hubs. This has turned out to not be true. I had to disassemble Corvette rear axle shafts and put the wheel side of the spline into my grand prix axle shafts and once I got that done the vette hubs go right on. No problems with getting the Front F body hubs to mount up to the rear of the grand prix. So I now have a 5x120 bolt pattern. Brakes are on. Now its time for wheels and tires. I have not been able to source factory wheels for the camaro Z28 so I am probably going to go with an SSR 19x11 wheel and stick with the Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo R Tires 305/30R19 on all 4. Once its all done and back on the ground I will post all my pictures and an official write up if anybody else wants to spend lots and lots of money! So far I'm at just under 14,000... For Brakes. eesh I am also waiting on my motor to come back from machining. So the car still won't be running for a couple months but with the help of ZZP and the guys at Blue Oval Performance I am hoping to hit 600 hp with a 2.6 in pulley. I can't wait to see how long it takes me to Grenade my first (untouched) Tranny. My guess is it will be on my first launch lol.

600 hp on a 2.6 pulley lol, but okay sure you spent 14000 on brakes and hubs and wheels and tires. But you have no way to modulate the brakes for front and rear bias under really hard breaking. If you haven't fabbed up spherical top mounts or ball joints like turbo 400 did this is a fail. And especially without pics

For 14 grand I would've dropped the car off at a race car shop and had it framed and converted to rwd drive with a LS3 416 stroker. And probably have some change left over.

Bull****, you can't be dumb enough to put $14k in a brake setup. I call bs until I see pics and even then your either lying our of your ass or your really retarded. Your not getting 600hp on a blower setup.

OP has never posted anything to prove what he has brakes or otherwise. Not hating, only making a statement. If it's legit it's cool as **** and if it's not may the ban hammer act with swift justice.
