Replacing cv shaft on driver side of my GTP and it will not come out. I have tried the special tool for the slide hammer, prybars, and screw drivers and it will not pop out of the transmision. Somebody help...

Just get a pry bar on the back side of it and give it a quick smack. What i meen is dont try to pry and pry you need to pop it out.

I have not tried a heel bar I'll have to give that a shot tomorrow. But I have been trying to "pop" it out not just continuously prying( witch I have also done out of distress) but there is just no good way to get at this driver side shaft, I did the passenger side about a month ago without of a hitch. And that slide hammer gave it a good jerk it and it won't budge.

I have heard tell that if you take the passenger side out you can maneuver around the differential and drive it out but I'm not to excited about taking the other side back apart.
