First...12" Monte rotors from 2002 are 5x118. Is there a better solution with the proper 5x115 pattern for a better fit?
Second, would the 2002 Monte wheel hubs be compatable with our cars?
TIA.

Use The Rotors Off An Intruige (sp) With Hd Brakes That Is What I Did Then I Bought Loaded Calipers For A Ss Camaro And You Need An Aluminum Banjo Bolt For Each Caliper (junkyard Freebee) It All Cost Me Like $100-$150 For Everything From Carquest
Rotors from a 02 Monte are NOT 5x118. There same bolt pattern as any other late model wbody.
Ok, well they clearly list them as 5x118 when ordered. If they are all the same, then so be it.
Can someone shed light to me why no matter what I have done, they squeal like hell when heated up? New pads twice once ceramic, new rotors twice, new calipers and brackets now. Still. Sure, they brake really well, but they sound like ****.
3 different brake shops are baffled. The rotor to hub is so sloppy it is not even funny. You can easily turn the rotor a good 3/8" each direction with the hub staying in place. How can that be right? Am I to assume that this rotor must be positioned perfectly to work right?
Any help you can provide is appreciated. I am this close to tossing this whole setup in the trash.
what kind of pads/rotors have you used?
when they're putting them on, is the shop coating the back of the pads liberally with anti-squeal paste? (caliper lube)
Agreed. The original shop probably never applied greas to the pins of back of pads. The rotors are supposed to move that much. It really doean't hurt anything because teh wheel tightens the rotor in place.
I know the shops did, and so did I when I put them on last. The same lithium grease that we use on the pins is what we should use on the backs of the pads, correct?
