I just got my lowering springs, rear sway bar, and rear struts. Where would you recommend I go to get them all installed? I can't do it myself as i dont have a lift or a spring loader.

Just get a quote from a place, they can't really mess anything up doing them, and just see if its worth it to you. It's probably going to take a full day for you to put them in with no lift, manual spring compressor and also depends on how many miles are on your car to get the bolts loose.

We did mine in an hour using a hoist and had 3 people around. We took the struts to JJ's work and used their spring compressor to switch out the springs and then installed them on the car. They settle in a little more after driving for a day and then get an alignment after they do.

Most shops will charge you big bucks to do that job! Especially with you bringing your own parts..

I would find a friend or a local club member who might be willing to help or even do the job cheaper.

I installed my suspension parts myself at a friend of mines shop. Having access to a lift and air tools in a heated shop is something im very thankful for, especially when cold outside.

    Good luck!

Rent the spring compressor from a local parts store (AutoZone/O'Reillys)

Post on a local Grand Prix forum for your area asking for help and offer free lunch.

Be prepared to learn as your helped in modifying your car.

Thats how things are done around here anyway. Of course, I'm a cheap date, and will do most anything for a case of Mt. Dew myself.

Like the last guys car I worked on...

What a fun day that was.

Then later we came back in, like a week later, and replaced both front wheel bearings/hubs, switched over his ARP wheel studs from his old hubs to his new ones, installed a new right inner tie rod and replaced both CV shafts.

Rides like a new car now.

    That'd be a hell of a day^^^^

P.S. make sure you have plenty of pb blaster to help those bolts/nuts come loose!!!

I'm going to do it Friday. I've got a lift and two guys that have installed lowering springs before to help me. we're just gonna take the struts into Les Schwab to get the springs compressed on, they only charge $10 per strut so its not too bad.
