I'm so pissed I didn't see this last week I might just order those anyway. These slots have always made me paranoid though. The thought of a plate being held by tension from bolts seems like it would slip

those universal camber plates are a great idea! it'd be suuuuper easy to put a few studs in them and have them on your car shortly after. now if only there was a coilover body that was worth using, heh.

and as far as the alignment slipping, when the upper mount is under tension from the suspension it's almost impossible for them to slip.

only the fronts would be helpful for you.

either way slotting the struts you have now would be an easier solution. and give you more flexibility since you're just looking for a camber increase to fit those wheels.

I don't really need any more camber adjustment .

I just want something that's stronger, better looking and something that fits better.

    Here's what I have now ( the bolts aren't tightened )

There on order. I'll have pics up when they arrive main reason I want them is so the primary turning action isn't just on the thrust bearings, it will also be on the upper bearing.

    Nope that's how they are.

The washers actually touch the lip of the strut tower. And I don't like that either.

My rears are a different story.

Why did you make them like that. You could have got more travel with a bump cup upside down like mine

    I didn't make them.

I don't think anymore strut travel would help, my struts are pretty short.

Instead I think I'd have to worry about over extending the strut first if I were to run higher bag pressure.

A little disappointment as summit forgot the bearings. But I did get the cups..essentially you can have a spherical bearing setup and still use a burned out mount.and of course some minor welding but the tradeoff is far more reliable and better than the crap weve been using for coilovers on wbodies. Here are some pics.

Front.. No need for the rears...as they don't actively go through camber changes or turn.
