yeah i was thinking selling it and buying a more clean gt would be a better idea, its just ive only had this car like half a year :/
its not hahha my paint doesnt look very good and **** like that so i might just sell it and pick up another one
i dont really wanna sell it but it needed a paint job also so i guess thats that, but idk yet

id clean them up, inside and outside with a wire brush, then por the rusted areas, then caulk the seam shut again with some polyurethane caulking. it will stick and seal out water better then any other caulk.
do they look like a cause for concern? i dont know much about cars tbh lol i just dont want a strut to come through my car hahah
well lets just say ive seen pics of far worse. chip that old factory sealant off, and seal it all up, that should stop the rust in its tracks for some time.
this way you can drive it for a while more with out worry of it getting worse.
I have a 99 Gt.
I had to have both strut towers or "buckets" replaced...compared to the mine looked - yours look darn good.
If I were you - I'd sell the car...that structural, and everytime you drive it it's gonna get worse and worse.
The strut will continue to push and push up until it's out of the tower and and you are stuck on the side of the road with no strut or tower.
I had new ones welded in..it cost me 300 a side from a local guy here where I live.
Body shops charge top dollar to cut and grind the old **** out and put new in.
Sell the car if the rest of it looks crappy.
Just make sure the potential buyer doesn't look in the trunk. These cars are known for rusty strut towers and strut mounts going bad.
