I am new to the forum and I have a question regarding brake hoses. I just replaced the caliper on my 04 Grand Prix GT and decided to replace the hose as well. I found out that none of the hoses available at the local parts store or the dealership match what I have on my car. All the parts I found had a 90 degree bend out of the banjo fitting as if the banjo attached to the ends or the back of the caliper. The hose I broke off has a banjo with a piece of tube for about 3-4" with very slight bend to it to clear the parking brake assembly. The car is out of commission until I find the proper brake hose that will allow me to reinstall the wheel. I tried utilizing the parts supplied by the parts store but had I installed it fully the hose would have had a kink in it.

Has anyone had this issue before or does my car have the only straight banjo fitting on the drivers side rear?

Pulled up Rockauto.com and went to your year as a NA car, I think in 04 GT meant no charger. The wagner pictures for the rear lines appear to have a bit of a lead off them and a bend as if to clear the brake as you mention. Take a look at the pictures they have and see if they match up for you.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
