Agreed. For a car that is pig nose heavy and could kill you with understeer.

I kinda skimmed through the thread. I saw in one post Dave mentioned subframe bushings. That's prob your problem. I chased a clunk and replaced LCA's with new bushings and ball joints, struts, mounts, sway bar links, and motor/trans mounts...only thing left was subframe bushings but I never got to them.

Yeah im gonna go all out and tackle the whole suspension, so subframe bushings are on order. Im looking for a good how too but it looks straight forward enough. This thing is gonna have one smooth ride when im done!

Yeah it is amazing what a full suspension refresh will do for a car.

So parts are on order, what do you guys prefer Poly motor and trans mounts or solid trans mounts?

I asked Vinnie when I ordered the spacers and he suggested it might be a good time to replace them since ill have access when doing the spacers.

Awesome thread Drunkie, they seem to be a good bunch over there at ClubGP, what I gather from that thread is the subframe bushings as you mentioned early on. Parts on there way, ill update with pics as best as I can as they come in.

First on the list is LCAs, Trailing Arms, and the subframe bushings.

Had my new ZZP cat back welded up last night to replace the band clamps and man I was jealous of that lift at the exhaust shop. I hung out under my car as long as the guy was working on it poking at suspension parts!

Matt just want your opinion on the trailing arms, what was the reason you settled on BMR over other brands or did it matter to you? I dont think my GXPs have a low enough offset to be an issue?

Trailing arms are far enough in, they won't come close to the wheel.

UMI trailing arms are the next biggest for $145 they are also the cheapest for tubular setup

Yeah the part from Oreilys was off by a few millimeters and so have to get this resolved tomorrow, its weird though knowing exactly what it is and now visualize it. Learned a lot today for sure just poking around. New suspension should be going in tomorrow!

    Thanks drunkie

Ran into an issue today. The bolt that secures the lower end of the trailing arm to the wheel assembly is to wide for ZZPs opening on the bushing. Is it safe to drill out that bushing and use the stock bolt?

I ended up using a new bolt from Home Depot 5/8th x 4" fit really well but was threaded all the way will that be an issue? Also does some one have a link for the order of the ZZP front sway bar endlinks?
