Hi guy's. I just noticed something. Why all lateral arms on W-Body are bent ?

Seriously, i have 3 w-body and all have the lateral arms bent. When i take a look on the web, all w-body have arm bent . It is normal ? They are pre-bent from GM? Or my 3 car have been towed ?

If my arms are bent, not too much, and the alignement is done without problem, do i need to change the arms or not ?

    Thanks !

change the arms before they break. Dorman are like 11-15$ each for new ones.

Are we confusing our lateral arms with our trailing arms in here?
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

    Maybe lol.

After I read this again, because I skim alot. Lateral arms should not be bent ever, if they are the preson before you or you yourself have either hit something or had a bad tow truck driver do the damage.

Trailing arms are the stamped steel cheap piles of junk parts that bend easy.

I have GMPP package , so the sway bar and trailing arms.

For the lateral arms, damnn the BMR products seem to be very nice, but alot pricey !!!

I will take a look for the wbodystore lateral arms ( 239 for the 4 lateral arms) , or, the dorman one.

HT Motorsports rear trailing arms and alignment (lateral) arms... 1/2 the cost and just as good IMHO as the BMR's.
