    Randomly on my 2004 Grand Prix, I will get the warnings of "Traction Control Off / Stability Control Off / Service ABS System" with the ABS light on the dashboard lighting up. If I turn the car off and back on, it is cleared for a while. I cannot find a way to replicate the issue regularly; it just happens whenever it feels like happening.

    I took my car to an AutoZone to get the computer scanned, but because it wasn't acting up at the time, the scan came back clean.

    I'm not sure what this means or what the problem is, so any information would be extremely helpful.

    Wheel speed sensors. Take the wheels off check connections at the wheel hub.

    Before you bother with manual diagnostics, you need to get the code read by a TechII. Find yourself a local GM mechanic that will do this for free. There's only one cheap code reader out there that will read a couple years for ABS Module codes (that I know about). A little searching might find you the answer (I'm too lazy just now).

    Once you have the code, then you'll know if you have a wiring problem, a sensor problem, a hub/bearing problem, etc. and save yourself some frustration.

    Insofar as an intermittent issue is concerned, I am most tempted to say your ABS Module is fried. They are all faulty from the factory, and all eventually fail, and you'll need to send it out for a rebuild, which should set you back about $100-$150.
    Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
    Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
    Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

    I took it in to my mechanic today. It was a front wheel bearing assembly. $300 later, I'm good to go. Time to learn how to do maintenance on my car so I can save on labor...

    Welcome to Wbody lol you'll have to replace a few of them I'm sure. $300 isn't too bad but there's a write up somewhere in detail about how to replace it.

    sheeesh, a wheel bearing costs 130 ish, and a hour of your time in your drive way. the only special tool you need is a 34 or 35 mm socket, and a 1/2 breaker bar. and a pipe lol a good torque wrench is nice to have as well.

    find the how to section, and just dive in and learn, it will save you big time in the long run. these cars for the most part are pretty easy to work on. and help is only a post away.

    I have the same issue after the struts were replaced. I also am hearing a squeak from the quick struts in the front. Im going to try and trace down the wires first, this didnt start until the struts were changed. its a common known issue on these cars that the wires to the sensors go bad. I had the guy check out the lights, and there wasnt any codes.
