I am looking for stiffer and better handling. I don't want to lower it.
Give your gp a bottle of viagra. Ha but on a more helpful note most suggest the kyb agx struts as your best bet for stiffer suspension and being that you dont want to lower i would say stick with stock springs and if you have sagging in the rear you can pick up a set of rear heightening springs to fix that.
Upgraded sway bars some tubular trailing arms and also strut tower braces will also help to stiffen up your suspension and improve handling.
Not specifically but i believe i read that with a few changes you can run the ones for 97 to 03 on your car im not sure what you have to change though. Possibly make a post on it or check in the suspension/handeling section i know there are some posts in there about the 04+ that might be helpful to you
Some people have swapped in either the CompG or GXP suspensions with good results.
On the KYB site they show that at least the 04's are able to use the GR-2s and the AGX's, anything past that, its a crap shoot, but I dont think there was any dramatic changes between the 04's and up. But I would investigate that more and maybe send an email to KYB and ask them directly to see what they tell you.
I personally am riding my AGX's with SCC Gen II front lowering springs and stock rear springs. It gives a bit more of an agressive look I think
The 04+ the sway bar in the front connects to the strut, where in the 97-03 it connected to the Lower Control Arm, so if the strut isn't 04+ specific, you will need the lower control arms from a 97-03 so you can connect the sway bar.....you may need a different sway bar as well
There it is i knew there was somethin you had to change just couldn't remeber what. Thanks for clearin that up an verifying exactly what it is 02BlueGT.
