I just bought this brake package off of craigslist yesterday. Everything looks to be in order. This is the absolute best deal I have ever scored on CL. I actually felt bad about what I paid. Anyway, anyone have any idea about the rear brakes? Never seen a rear kit for the GTP but I pulled them off the rear subframe so they are legit. Also want to know if there are any cheaper pads available other than the Baers. Thanks.

13" inches up front and 12" rears. Full Baer setup with Goodridge brake lines.

Ah, you don't need those. Go ahead and sell them for a couple hundred bucks to someone that needs big brakes. Perhaps someone who likes to run large wheels

will these fit under a 16 inch stock wheel? like a f body?

that sure is a sweet looking set up.

I'm on 18" wheels so I'm set LOL.

These came off a 97 (I think) GTP that was headed to the scrapper from a rear end collision. The original owner used to be on CGP back in the day. This was the car: ClubGP:

To be honest: You don't want to cheap out on pads.

They make or break your brakes.

Im not 100% sure but the front calipers are essentially F-body/80's-90's corvette/94-98 SVT Cobra units produced with a Baer logo and the pads are for those same applications as well. The rear calipers they like to use are very similar to C4 vettes and early 4th gen F-bodies too except they may incorporate a parking brake mechanism.

Really no better than the GXP brakes.
98 GTP-Mods? Yeah, lots of them

These were around many years ago. They were avaliable at PFYC at one time long ago.

Baer Eradispeed Big Brake Upgrade - 97-03 Grand Prix - PFYC.com

According to this ^ Fronts only, it should fit under the normal 16s just not the crosslaces.

I call shenanigans on 13" rotors, but with 18s its a moot point.

Good buy, now send them to me!!!

HAHA No I meant on the Baer 13" rotors fitting under 16s. I knew the Baers are 13"s

Used to there was a Baer, Willwood, and the GXPs that used the 13" rotors, but the GXPs were only ones under a grand for the set and worth the money for the upgrade.
