Finally got my springs installed; SSC coils, Monroe Sensa-Trac struts, Monroe bearing plates, Monroe boots, and GM anti-pogo's. I haven't driven it yet, but my buddy that did the install last night says it is a night and day difference, for the better. The struts were original with a leaker in the rear. She has the stance I was hoping for too, so I'm a happy camper. Here are some iPhone shots.....

More pix meow. I'm in the process of picking another set of springs for the new car. Or swapping the springs/sruts for the purple car to the new car and going lower on the purple car.

Windows retinted in the second pic? They look darker.

Windows do look darker, also more overcast, and at more of an angle though. Both of which will make tint appear darker. They still look much darker though.

.. How haven't you driven it yet?.. I had my car on the road two seconds after my install was done!

I took the overcast condition and the angle into consideration. But with as light as they look in the first pic i'd think you'd at least be able to see inside on the second pic. Maybe not back out because of the angle but at least inside.

I have your exact set up on my 2005 but with ZZP anti-pogo. The Monroe struts will hold up longer than KYB GR-2's.. I did a lot of researching and found that they handle about the same, If I had my laptop with me at work I could post links to tech reviews/articles

Yes, you have made your opinion on Monroe's very clear in all the thread. I just want a stockish ride, so they will work just fine for me.

    By the weekend, for sure.

Nope, just different clouds and angle.

I wish I could have them that dark. The po-po around here don't like dark tint.

Buddy here at work did the install last night. I took his ride home. He got to work after I had already started, so I have to wait for lunch to try it out. Try working under those conditions. LOL

Good to hear. I did a lot of research also, and this isn't my first lowered vehicle, so I'm pretty confident that I have a good set-up.

Ok, went for a spin. Not to many twisty roads here by work, but the few that I could find, she handled WAY better than with the worn out coils and struts. The ride is good too. You can feel that she is lowered, but not to jarring or rough.

Over all, I give it .

One more picture to hold you over until the weekend, where I will use my good camera and get some better shots.....

not knocking your choice, they'll probably do fine.

car looks better and if youre satisfied that's all that matters.

Ya, I love the look now. I'd be lying if I said I was going to miss that front wheel gap.

Wow, definitely sold me on ssc's that's for sure! Our cars could be twins haha. I'm debating which struts I wanna get though... I like the ability to adjust the kyb agx's, but might just go with the standard kyb's instead. I have to get the money together to do the whole setup at once.
[under construction] 03 GT = WAY too stock. Needs more low...

I have the monroe sensa trac's on my car now they were on when i got it I'm thinking pretty hard about lowering it now that i see the results of everyone else's car lowered. I just have to buy springs and antipogo washers.

Looks like a nice drop. Report in after a few thousand miles and let us know how those struts are performing.

I noticed right away a difference in the GM pogo washers vs zzp. If you choose to change them out later on
