I was under my car 99 gtp to install a zzp dp and my subframe bolts were so lose there was alot of space between the bushings and the car. I tried to to tighten them but the driverside just spun, this is the side I'v had trouble with starting when dealership replaced tranny. Apparently they forgot to tighten bolt and it fell out so they fixed it and all was well. Then I went to install a gmpp sway bar and the bolt broke off flush,I ended up having a body shop get it out and put a new bolt in. That takes us to now the captured nut up in the body is'nt captured anymore and it just spins. Im going to see what the bodyshop says but if they wont stand behind their work my plan of attack is to peel back the carpet and cut a hole in the floor above the nut and go from there. If anyone has any experience with this please chime in I could use some help.

if the nut is broke loose, the ONLY way is to peel back the floor and cut a hole and weld the nut back down

yeah I figured as much. First I'm gonna see what the bodyshop will do,because there the ones the broke the clip that holds the nut.
