Which way is up on the front springs?
Never mind. Figured it out. For future reference for anyone: Notice the rear springs only go on in one direction, well there is a notch at the bottom. The front springs have the same notch, indicating the bottom.
I installed the DNA springs on my car last night and the rear is too high, raised an inch. I was sitting at 28 all around stock, now its 27 in the front and 29 in the rear. I'm thinking of cutting off a coil from the rear spring. Anyone who has done this please let me know if you have had any issues. It rides pretty good just not crazy about the dukes of hazard rake.
Typical issue on dna Springs. They are cheap for a reason. Save a little more monies and get Ssc Springs. I think member here cut his dna Springs. Maybe he will chime in
I ended up using ssc fronts and kept the DNA rear end for the rake. I also have SSC rears from an intrigue that is supposed to raise the rear as well , but these seem to do the job so far.
Some don't like rake. And to be honest , it's usually always the rears that are lower then the front with cheap springs. Go figure
No one realizes the rear springs have sagged over time until they put a lowering spring on it and it sits the same or higher in the rear than it did with the saggy original springs on it...lol Pretty common scenario on these cars!
I didn't use dna springs. I thought they were but they are a different brand
My rears have settle a little since July at less than 2000 miles.
Yeah I did.
How much did a quarter coil drop you? Did the stiffness change much?
