control arm over haul....

BoostJunki3

Needs A Turbo
need to do the front control bushings (saucer style) and was wondering if with 127k if i should do the back tubular ones too and if i should go with poly or rubber.....

or just get completely new moog control arms for just over 200$ bushings are 60$ total to do all 4

get whole control arms imo, ur ball joints are gonna be next in line so might as well replace the whole thing. im getting those performance ones from WBS w/ poly bushings.

then get the moog ones. for how damn long its gonna take u to change those bushings u might as well buy new lca's.

Definitely just replace the arms, they're cheap enough. You don't need wbs or similar, just get moog or dorman.

Dormans work fine. I have replaced the front bushings in our control arms at work a few times Its really gay. You need a press to get the new ones in a Hammer isnt going to cut it.

Is there any such thing as a tubular LCA for these cars? I have a 2000 GTP that I wouldn't mind putting tubular adjustable suspension on. I've been able to find rear end stuff but nothing for the front.

NVM...Found it ZZ Performance :th_drooling:

Everyone is right I needed bushings and saw the work in involved and the cost a set of LCA's and everything is fresh and new I did struts and tie rods while I was at it car rides like new I used moogs because I have used mood parts since the 70's and they seem well made just make sure whatever you use it is greasable you won't be sorry
