Need help with this one.
98 GTP with 150k miles--original rack and front hubs.
Magnasteer been acting up. Bad ABS input to EBTCM causes steering problems---correct???
Pump is not making noise and boots on R&P have little or no leaks.
Front hubs/bearings not making any noise.
Both front hubs had broken ABS sensor wires. Rear sensors and wires tested out OK. Used DVM and both front sensors tested within range as good(1200-1300ohms). There is enough wire left to solder and repair the pigtail from the hub. The harness that runs back along the lower control arm is fine.
With the mileage on the vehicle, should I just bite the bullet and put new hubs and rack and pinion in or just ride it out until they fail?
Fixing my wire problems should fix the Magnasteer problem---right?????
