I've been having clunking issues for a very very long time and they're only getting worse. Now I'm starting to get this weird shaking when I'm giving it gas (it doesn't shake at all just coasting). Well I've replaced the struts and strut mounts, the hubs seem to be tight and wiggle free, the CV shafts aren't leaking or anything (but still might to be replaced), BUT I have seen that my LCA bushings are falling apart. It seems like just as much trouble to press in the new bushings as it is to just get new arms with all new ball joints.
You can get Dorman's off Rockauto for $65 a pop. For $20 more you can get Moogs. For $20 more than that, you can get Raybestos. My questions is this. Will the extra $20 actually be worth the investment? Will I actually get $20 worth of quality and performance beyond that of the Dorman's or Moogs? I don't give a crap about brand name bragging rights, I just want something to get the job done right the first time and be done with it.
My car has 157K on the clock and I'm not looking to keep dumping money into it unnecessarily. So which ones would you go with? This car is my DD and I'm not looking to turn it into a track car.

    Thanks for the input.

Another option is a set of stock replacements from wbody store. They are $199.99 for the set.

If you go on Rock Auto the control arms for a Regal from Raybestos are cheaper than for a GP for some reason. Identical part.

    same thing with the Dormans

I put the dormans on the GTP. I like them.

Thanks for all the help guys, I ended up going with the Moogs and they showed up yesterday. They have greasable ball joints which I didn't know about! Sweetness! Hopefully the swap goes well!

The Dormans on Rock Auto I for a 2001 Regal GS are $38 a piece. Where as for my Monte the exact same LCA is $38 for one side and $56 for the other side. Same part numbers and everything.
