I think the rears are aluminum too. Not sure. I Can check when I get home. I have them on my car.
As far as the DTS/STS if you go to www.brakewarehouse.com you can bring up the calipers and they look the same as the GXP. Now the bracket might be a different length depending on the rotors size but man the calipers look the same. lol
TO PUT THE FRONT CALIPERS AND ROTORS FROM MY '05 COMPG ON MY DAUGHTER'S 1998 WHAT BRACKETS DO i NEED?
Thanks, I have all that.
I put the CompG brakes on one side and now the 16" rim doesn't want to go on.
Does it have the crosslace wheels?

No, the ones that are 5 curved spokes.
comp g brakes need 17's? i forget. i always thought they were the same size as f bodys pretty much.
is this a factory wheel? most 16's clear f bodys. all but the crosslace wheels.
and are they hitting the inside of the wheel face? or the inner round part between the beads?
They are Enkei stamped inside. I don't know if the wheels were changed. The barely hit the rim where the spokes meet the rim. I loaned her my CompG wheels to get through inspection tomorrow.
The caliper and brake pad are really stuck together on the old ones. I had to take the bracket and caliper off together.
That spacer sounds like a good idea. When I bought my '66 Corvette it had 3 flat washers under each back wheel, Chevelle wheels, and oversize tires. I put offset arms and wheel spacers on that. Where can I get spacers for this?
http://www.amazon.com/UNIVERSAL-SPAC...+wheel+spacers something like this should work.
you may need hub centric spacer too, not sure if the hub will still reach wheel to center it.
id shim it with washers first, then measure the washers to figure out how thick of a spacer you need, any more then 3 mm or so you may want longer lug studs.
I'll try that, thanks.
Thats odd, wouldn't have thought they would hit.
Don't the comp G brakes use like 11.5" rotors? They should fit under the TQ stars.
Are they hitting the inside(barrel) of the rim of the inside of the spokes?
That's why, those are not stock wheels.

I thought maybe they weren't they have Enkei stamped on the inside. I think I'll give her my CompG wheels and buy a new set.
