...i thought they were no longer being produced....?
I thought it hadn't been available as a kit for a long time. I have a call into find out if it is available and how much the discounted price will be. Hopefully will have an answer in 30 minutes or less.
PK12456148 - W-car Heavy Duty Suspension Package for '97-03 Grand Prix & '00-04 Monte Carlo - PK12456148
if you are a clubgp member call Greg at ext 205 and I believe there is a 5% discount and possibly free shipping.
How does that GM kit from parts direct compare to the zzp gmpp kit? My front stabilizer bar recently broke, and I need to replace it....
Also, how hard is it to install the front sway bar? Any write-ups?
wow, i stand corrected. Good find guys, thanks! Think I might drop a bill fitty on this myself when I get a chance. Is this kit a big No NO without aftermarket/performance struts and springs, or is the kit a waste of $$ without the aforementioned mods?
alrighty sweet and as for the this being a waste of money w/o after market struts/springs id say no its not a waste of money. Anything to help these land yaught handle better is not a waste of money lol.
This is the GMPP kit. Same as on ZZP.
Tons of Impala owners run this setup with stock struts. As a matter of fact, the SS came with most of this already installed, with the same struts as the LS. The difference is very clear. You don't need struts or springs to make this kit worth it.
When comparing prices, remember to check shipping. GMPD charges like $35 for shipping, to me. Pace Performance doesn't charge shipping, just flat $8 handling fee.
Also, Pace stocks these kits. Mine arrived in 3 days. GMPD, I have heard people waiting up to a month because they had to order them from GM, then re-ship them out to the customer.
Just some thoughts.
Sometimes pace even has free ground shipping. So far they have had everything I've ordered in stock. Even the underpinning that goes in the fendwell and up under the drivers side foglight for an 40 Impala SS...I thought that was impressive. It showed up within 3 days as well.
Does pace just sell the front sway bar w/ bushings and endlinks?
I can't figure out how to navigate around their website.... its pretty confusing.
Sorry it is a little late. But yes, there is a discount code. Enter Clubgp in the where you heard about us box. If there is a discount available, you will see it reflected when they charge you, not in the final price listed.
But I know it has been said before that there is no discount applied to the GMPP handling kit.
Yea, I looked it up on the ClubGP forums and just wrote that with my screen name. I got a $12 dollar discount overall! Thanks to Greg over at ClubGP!
Can't wait to put this thing on!
i think the only way to tell if you already have the gmpp is to look at the code # inside the door. i forgot what's the code # was, but you probably can ask the dealer and they probably tell you.
