    Im wondering if 97-03 lowering springs work with the newer cars?

    so i emailed vogtland direct, and they said that the springs are made car specific and they wont fit..... That kind of sucks lol. Still going to email a few more places
    Edit: W-Body store says the springs work, excluding the GXP. So im going to go ahead and order them anyways

    So, here's a question. If you put 97-03 struts on your 04+ car, do you put on 97-03 springs or 04+ springs? The struts are essentially the same except for that front sway bar mounting point, so the only difference I could see is if there's something to do with the weight of the car and/or the weight disbursement for those springs.

    springs are fine. I bought the B&G springs for my 06 and they fit perfect. So the older springs will work with the newer cars, at least in my case!

    i'm curious how accurate this is. someone just posted up a set of Eibach PRO-KIT Performance Springs for 50 bucks locally.

    They do fit, but the rear ones will drop more. Since the 04+ springs are a little longer in the back.
