So I'm looking for new aftermarket brakes for my 04 GP. I was wondering what is a good way to go not just in terms the rotors but also the pads and calipers. Any info would help, thanks.

There are a lot for options for brake setups. And everyone has a different spin on what is “best”. But honestly the stock brakes on 04+ GPs are great IMHO. They are already “upgraded” from earlier model GPs. Replacing the parts with OEM is just fine. There is no magic bullet that will make your brakes much better than what they are stock without investing a lot of money. But I do have a couple tips for you. Watch out for cheap rotors, cheap usually means thin. And ceramic pads make less objectionable dust.

On second thought, I guess I didn’t answer your questions the best. I like my ceramic Hawk pads, but I can’t honestly claim they are any better than stock. My StopTech rotors are nice, perfect quality. Also, I have heard EBC green stuff pads are good.
And if your really serious and have the coin to back it up. Go for Baer brake set up front, it will only run you about 3k

i think they are 11.7 if you convert the millimeter to inches... around 297 millimeters for the fronts on an 05 gt and its 10.6 for the rear

You don't need 3k to upgrade to better brakes than an old stock set up that's on it's way out. Go on zzp and look at their brake kits if you have money to spend. Otherwise piece everything together just increase the size of everything, you can get away cheap.
