Was throwing an ABS, didn't have access to a reader so just did a visual inspection, found wires from pass front where spliced together near the front a-arm bushing, they were very corroded. cleaned everything up joined them back together and problem went away for a while, yay.

A few months back ABS lights back on, drove it for a while this way, then found out neighbor has a reader that does ABS. Threw it on there and told me I had a bad speed sensor front DS, replaced hub cleared ABS code and all is good. A few weeks later it comes back, now complaining about PS speed sensor, replace that hub. All is good. A few weeks later I get it again, but, a different code C0036 from what I have read, this can either be the hub or a wiring issue.

Thinking back to my first issue where I found the splice, did not look factory, but, made me wonder if those are supposed to be spliced, can I expect to have a union near the DS front control arm bushing like the PS?

Tomorrow night I will pull the wheel and see what I find. The connector near the hub, should I put a dab of dielectric grease in that?

    Thanks,
    John

one side has a plug, the other does not, cant recall what side 100% i want to say pass side. you buy a new harness, and you usually splice it together, solder and shrink tubes work best and last the longest. well forever really.

Tore into it last night, the wires blue and yellow are encased in a black covering which is inside split loom. removed the loom starting at the hub and the black covering crumbled off near the hub, after about5 inches it looked fine. The yellow and blue wire looked okay, but, I decided to replace. I also checked the impedance of the hub, 1060 ohms, that is good, it is fairly new. Checked voltage, car on not started, got 4.7 volts (car had been sitting for several days).

Replaced the wire, fired it up, no ABS/TC lights. Took it for a test drive, everything working fine. Still need more testing as it was an intermittent problem, will report back what I get.

    Thanks,
    John
