I have read that sometimes you can jack the car up and put your hand on the spring the coil spring on the strut and rotate the wheel/bearing assembly, and be able to feel it in the spring although I have not personally tried that.
As others have said Moog is junk now. If you don't want to spend big money try bearings from Detroit Axle. I put them on my daughters car a few years ago and they seem to be fine. And she is not a careful driver!

I will have to try the Detroit Axle front hubs.
I always thought moog bearings were good?
I put one on my Alero, but I didn't have the car too long after that.
I have the Detroit Axle lower control arms well on one side of my car so far I have to do the other side next week, I'm waiting for some other parts so far so good on the control arm though.
I heard the warranty is not so good with a Detroit Axle do that you have to mail them back ( on your dime) and they have to make a decision.

Anyone have experience with Mevotech? I see they also have a lifetime warranty and only around $94
With RockAuto and a lifetime warranty are we required to pay shipping?
