    Ok, someone help me out here. Trying to check if my subframe bolts are tight. FSM says spec is 133 ft-lbs, rear ones are ok, but front looks just like a smaller flanged nut on the end of a stud? The diagram shows a solid bolt with a hex head going thru just like the rear, not a nut? I'm just a little confused about what I'm looking at. I don't wanna tighten the nut to 133 ft-lbs, seems too much for a nut that small.

    not knowing what year car you have, ive heard theres a brace or bracket, im guessing thats it in your pic. the sub frame bolt is further up, that bar is in the way.

    98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

    Its an 04. I just don't see that brace mentioned in any diagrams or in the fsm under the section dealing with replacing the bushings.

    pretty sure its the 04 up cars with the brace bs in the way.

    Remove the nut and the bracket from the lower support then you can get to the front cradle bolts.
