    I have a clunk going over bumps have replaced lower control arm bushing,sway bar links and bushings and quick struts. Noise is still there ball joints are good replacing outer tie rod ends next. Anyone ever experienced anything similar any info would help I'm at my wits end with this. Thanks

    Yes they separate and its hard to see while installed. They are part of the suspension and they wear out just like the rest of it. I see it becoming very common on these cars has the get to be 10 plus years old.

    Make sure the bolts on the diagonal braces in the engine bay are good and tight. I have had them make some noises too.

    Good luck getting them out.. I gave up..lol

    Maybe one day when I swap to a aluminium sub frame I will try again.
