After my transmission swap I went to get the car aligned and it still pulled badly. long story short the lazy idiot who towed my car to the shop where I swapped the transmission secured the car from the lateral arm...

You can see where he wrapped the hook from the missing paint.

I decided to go for the Wbody store oversized lateral arms as they are half the price of the BMR lateral arms $240 vs $480ish. They are adjustable for the short and long arm for perfect alignment just like the BMR's lateral arms. I also looked at the Arraut Motorsport (West Shore Fabricating) lateral arms that Billboost37 had on his Regal, but I called and they had to check their stock and they never called back and did not respond to my emails. So I went with the W-body store oversized lateral arms.

They are a bit thicker and a bit heavier than stock. When I received them I was skeptical, but I just wanted a car that drove straight again! I installed them and got the car aligned. And I must proclaim! I am impressed!

Mind you I have most w body suspension mods BMR trailing arms, Moog greasable endlinks, larger sway bars, comp-g shocks with Vogtland springs, etc. but the car always felt cheap and uncomposed over rough surfaces or pot holes (I drive about 1,000 miles a month in NYC garbage roads) but this upgrade has accomplished a most notable improvement in ride stability, composure, and for lack of a better term refinement on this W-body chasis that I have ever felt. Now under warped roads the car doesn't wonder. When I hit rough pavement or small pot holes the car makes a confident ka-thunk instead of feeling like a cheap clanging feeling.

The car feels way more solid. Now this is a car with 212,000 miles a decent amount of suspension mods and fresh components. Also in case some of you were wondering my old lateral arms were OEM delco units that I replaced about 2 years ago so they were still in good shape except for the one the idiot tow truck driver jacked up.

Let's just leave it at I am impressed enough to take the time to write this glowing review.

Bendy next to its much improved replacements.

I have these as well. I couldn't tell if it was these or the problem solver front bushings that made the car much tighter. Probably both lol

I'm gonna be upgrading mine on the 06 as well. I had an idiot tow truck driver bend my stock lateral links on my 97 and I was pissed!

are the bushings rubber or poly?

Edit: Nevermind, those are Ingalls Engineering Lateral Links so the bushings are rubber. Decent upgrade but I'm going for Arraut Motorsports cause the use polys.

Yup Goodluck dealing with Richard from arraunt, took months do finally get a pair. I use to call him 2-3 a week and would constantly get the run around and the whole time all I was calling for was for him to send me a damp invoice so I could pay for a pair.

After it was said and done I wish I would of just grabbed the Ingalls

Agreed, with Arraunt Motor Sport, it felt like they did not care for my business. I would have preferred to get their product, but I did not have time to waste as I drive my car for a living and the tire on the bent lateral arm corner, was wearing badly.

Arraunt has good products, but I think with the dying of the platform, so has the business... I lost a bolt on my lateral arm I got from them, emailed, called, to no avail just for the spec, ie, size, thread of bolt so I could replace it in kind. Had to disassemble the other side to match it up as I got no response. Is a shame really... I like their stuff, but you have to support your products and customers or they will go elsewhere.

And after 6-8 months when they finally sent me a invoice and I received them. A few months later. The adjustable arm..at the shortest setting was still to damn long to match up with the non adjustable ones. I ended up having to remove one of the locking nuts just to get it short enough. What a wonderful company to deal with! Never had to put in so much effort to get someone to take my money.
